Cookie policy

What they are
Cookies and equivalent technologies, such as browser local storage, are small files the site saves on your device to remember information between visits. This site uses local storage for its preferences and one server cookie, an essential one, for people who open an approved access link to the security documentation. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics also stores its own cookies.
Essential
These are necessary for the site to work and do not require consent. We store two values: your cookie decision (criterium-cookies) and, only if you complete the assessment, its result (criterium-assessment) so you can attach it to a request. None identifies a person or is shared with third parties, and they remain until you clear them in your browser. In addition, if you open an approved access link to the security documentation, we store the criterium-security-access cookie, which the browser cannot read, is valid only for that access, and expires with it, within 30 days at most.
Analytics
These are only activated if you accept. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies, and Google Analytics 4, which stores the _ga and _ga_<ID> cookies (up to 2 years) to recognize returning visits pseudonymously. They tell us which pages are read, where visits come from, and which forms are sent. Google signals and ad personalization are switched off: they are not used to profile people or for advertising, and we never send your name, email, or form content. Google may process this data outside Mexico. If you choose essential only, no analytics tool is loaded.
Third parties
When you open AI Academy or an external link, the destination site applies its own policy. Typefaces are served from this same domain, so your visit is not reported to an external font provider. The forms may use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots; for that check Cloudflare receives your IP address. The conversation with our agent is shown from a criterium-ai.com subdomain that stores its own technical preferences for the length of the conversation.
How to change your choice
You can change your decision at any time from the Cookie preferences link in the footer, or by clearing the site's local storage in your browser. When you do, the notice will appear again.
